Top Tip 4 – Snack Attack!

Snacks are not really meant to be meals; they’re intended to fill the gaps between them! So making the right choices when it comes to snacking can really help in supporting your ‘Nutritional Intake’ as well as boost your creative flow.

Fruits can be eaten as snacks and can help to fill the gap too; you can carry most fruit with you wherever you go (think bananas, apples, pears, grapes etc.), and actually these should be considered as real Fast Food! Dried fruit can be quite sweet and can help to satisfy even the most sweet tooth! However, make sure when choosing your dried fruit it is unsulfured and preferably organic.

A handful of nuts (if no known allergies to these) or seeds with your dried fruit can also help to fill the gap between meals. Dates filled with peanut butter provide you with some carbs, protein and fat in a really yummy snack! Or why not try crudités (vegetable sticks such as carrots, cucumbers, celery, sweet peppers etc.), olives, and baby tomatoes with a dip such as humus to make a filling snack or even a light lunch.

So Snack Smart, and attack your hunger with clean, nutritious whole foods.
