Industry In The Streets came back with extra fire for the 4th edition of True Skool.
Held once again at Rich Mix, the IITS crew proudly presented the very best in old skool and new skool vibes.

With DJ Policy manning the decks and IITS MD Fusion & DJ Mika hosting,
we kicked it off with the True Skool assembly featuring BushkinNarko and one
half of winning Wandsworth Young Performer duo Maverick & Malachi.
The session provided a captivating insight into their worlds as well as their lyrical and personal journeys.

We also saw a range of top-notch performances, from 17-year old hip hop dance wunderkind Sabea,
south London lyricist Narko, beatbox/rap duo Maverick & Malachi,
soulful Liverpudlian singer Esco Williams and former Heartless Crew emcee Bushkin.
All was love in the Rich Mix, as artists and fans showed maximum support for each act.

The Skool Yard Battle brought its usual brand of drama as two brave soldiers from the
audience slugged it out for supremacy on the mic. Dubzey and RJ King squared up to
Just Blaze’s ‘PSA’ and Kanye’s ‘N*****s In Paris’ and drops bars until there was only one man standing.
Congrats to Dubzey who eventually emerged as the champ.

Shining a light on our Enterprise Zone, we had guest stall holders DV8 Academy
promoting education opportunities, fashion brand Anyfortyshowcasing a new collection,
mixtapes from Narko and an interactive Blingwear graff wall that had to be seen to be believed.

An amazing night was had by all… and then the unexpected happened.
Yep, that night we made history… but that’s just the way when you come to True Skool.
Better make sure you don’t miss the next one, eh.
